Supporting Compliance, Not Replacing It
CrewGrid provides software tools, records and access controls that help customer companies manage workforce and operational compliance. CrewGrid does not certify that a customer, employee, scaffold, project or workplace is compliant merely because information is stored in the platform.
Customer companies remain responsible for their workplace safety, employment, privacy, surveillance, licensing, engineering, record-keeping and other legal obligations.
Platform Security
CrewGrid uses managed cloud infrastructure, encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated access and ongoing application and infrastructure updates to support secure platform operation.
Access Control
Access is controlled through assigned roles, company membership and branch permissions. Users receive access according to their responsibilities and authorised company configuration.
Company and Branch Separation
CrewGrid is designed as a multi-company platform. Application and database controls are used to separate customer records and restrict users to authorised companies, branches and information.
Workforce Compliance Records
CrewGrid helps customer companies manage employee records, licences, tickets, qualifications, expiry information, safety sign-offs, scaffold handovers, inspections and operational reports.
Attendance Verification
CrewGrid records GPS coordinates and calculates distance from the selected site during specific clock-related actions. An attendance selfie may also be required during clock in. CrewGrid does not currently track location continuously in the background.
Documents and Protected Files
Employee documents, photos, signatures and operational files are stored using managed file storage. Access depends on authentication, company membership, assigned permissions and the controls applied to each file category.
AI-Assisted Features
CrewGrid may provide AI-assisted estimating, document analysis and workflow support. AI output is intended to assist authorised users and must be reviewed by competent people before safety, engineering, employment, pricing or commercial decisions are made.
Service Monitoring
CrewGrid monitors key services including the web application, authentication, database, file storage and support email systems to help identify operational problems.
Security and Incident Response
CrewGrid maintains processes for investigating suspected account compromise, unauthorised access, service incidents and personal information breaches, with notifications provided where required by applicable law.
